CHOQUENET EXOFALC filter
This equipment was developed some years ago in food processing industry. Its qualities in thickening as well as in clarifying involved the present use of this equipment in a lot of industries.
It replaces now the decanters with numerous advantages :

- Much better turbidity of filtered liquids

Specificity of the EXOFALC filter
The filter cloth is perfectly adapted to the candle size ; the low amplitude with respect to its support avoids its deformation. The filtered juices are not in opposition when they are removed what conferes to the candle a specific large flowrate and a juice turbidity which becomes rapidly better than with a frame filter with outlets in opposition.
High and constant thickening
The advantage of the CHOQUENET EXOFALC filter is to be capable of producing a high and constant concentration during its draining phase. This concentration stage reduces slurry volumes which are sent to the process equipment or to the liquid/solid separation equipment. This stage is carried out at the end of the cycle before the total drain.
Ramp isolation,visualisation and sampling
The system enables to isolate the ramps which have a damaged cloth.
A set of manual valves enables also to sample the filtered juice and the sight glasses to inform the operator about the liquid quality at any time of the cycle.
Our system is completely automatic and therefore, no operator is required to drive the EXOFALC filter. A pressure sensor gives information about the cloth conditions and the quality of the filtered product.
With our lifting beam, it is possible to install and remove a complete set of ramps in a single operation and without any special tool. This advantage brings an important time saving.
